How long have yoga been practicing Yoga?
I've been practicing Yoga on my mat for over 3 years, but fell in love with Yoga way before that. Within the last year or so I have come to rely on my practice to keep my body and mind calm and strong.
What are some of the GIFTS Yoga has brought into your life?
Yoga is my way to deeply connect with my inner voice and tap into places that feel vulnerable. This is what makes each Yoga practice so unique and beautiful for me. Yoga is a gift of connection, community and friendship. Knowing that you are held in a space that is pure and whole. Yoga has also given me a strong body. I love how a posture which felt like 'I could never do that' has grown into 'I can do this'. Yoga is patient. Yoga is powerful. Yoga is kind.
Do you have a favourite posture, breathing technique, mantra? Tell us about it!
Everything about a Yoga class is valuable to me. From walking thought the studio door to walking out of the door and everything in between. I love hearing Yogis breathe around me during practice...it allows me to go deeper.
What inspires you?
Yoga, music, peace, love, kindness and my son
What do you love about practicing at Yoga Grace?
All the amazing , strong and beautiful Yogis I have had the joy of sharing space with. I am so grateful.
What would you tell someone who's wanting to try Yoga for the first time?
DO IT!!!
